A 17-year-old Hopewell Township boy has had various charges filed against him in connection with the Jan. 13 Elm Ridge Road car crash that killed 16-year-old Luke Verbeyst. Previous police reports about the accident said that Christopher Penney of Chicory Lane was driving at the time. Story

NEW ELECTION ORDERED
BARTLETT REMOVED FROM HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE
State Superior Court Judge Linda Feinberg ordered a new election Thursday, to be held between March 5 and March 9, for the Hopewell Township Committee seat vied for by John Hart, a Republican, and Francesca Bartlett, a Democrat. That seat must remain vacant until the results of the March election are in, the judge said. Story
