THREE QUARTER HOUSE HELPS WOMEN FIND HOME IN COMMUNITY

To ease the passage for women from a halfway house to their community, the Crawford House agency in Montgomery has rehabilitated a house. Women who have completed treatment at the main facility are now eligible to live for as long as a year at the new Three-Quarter House.  Story

Corrinne Kohrherr was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on her spine nearly 17 years ago. Today she is cancer-free and, grateful for her doctors and the treatment that makes her a nearly normal teen-ager these days, she is helping other cancer patients deal with their own pain and fear.  Story

FIFTEEN-YEAR HILLSBOROUGH RESIDENT LORETTA REYNOLDS WILL TRAVEL TO LONDON LATER THIS YEAR TO RUN IN A MARATHON SPONSORED BY THE LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY.

Some people run for their lives. In April, Loretta Reynolds will travel to London to run for others' lives. The 15-year Hillsborough resident has signed up to run in a marathon sponsored by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and she is in the midst of training for the event and gathering pledges.  Story
