CHURCH ENJOYS 250 YEARS
THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF BORDENTOWN HELD FIRST SERVICE IN 1751
When the first brick of the Baptist Church on Prince Street was set in place in 1751, New Jersey was still a British colony. When the present church building was constructed more than 100 years ago, horse-drawn carriages still filled the streets and women had not yet won the right to vote. Story

Postmaster Charles Rue has moved the mail through the small Jobstown Post Office through rain, sleet and snow for nearly four decades. Now that the post office is established in the new building it moved into in 1998, Mr. Rue is ready to begin a well-deserved retirement. Story
